Thoughts from BanjoTom2…

I occurs to me from time to time, that having a ‘living will’ is a good idea…

I’ve been thinking for some time that, should I pass unexpectedly, what would would happen to the BJT2 site?

It wouldn’t stop immediately just because I did, but I’m the ONLY person who has access to the files (stored in the cloud of course) and to the site itself.

Because this site is fairly unique unto itself, it would be a shame for it to just run out of gas for lack of ‘payments’ to WordPress (currently once a year) and Microsoft (when that comes about)…

What I am thinking of is a “Board of Directors” or dedicated “BJT2 Committee” to decide in the event of me ‘buying the farm’, how this site would continue…

I hear from a group of people regularly who seem to have a big interest in this site…

Someone in the proposed ‘committee’ (or board of directors) would have the password to the site and be able to keep it going financially into the future…

I would not be around anymore to create new arrangements, but at least the site would have stewardship to continue into the future…

Any thoughts out there?

Tom
