The “STYLE of Tabs” Found On This Site – NEW! – 2020…

The style of banjo that I play is based on Earl Scrugg’s Bluegrass style of banjo. In other words, darned near every tab on this site is based on roll patterns played with 3 fingers and thumb and metal finger picks.

There are NO CLAWHAMMER tabs anywhere on my site as I do not play that style.

I never set out to mis-lead anyone and that is the reason for this post.

I play:

  • Flatpicked and Fingerstyle guitar,
  • Bluegrass style 5-string banjo,
  • Old-time and Bluegrass style mandolin and
  • Old-time fiddle. No clawhammer style banjo.

If you’re planning on purchasing any tabs from me, please remember that they are ‘roll-based’, not clawhammer-based banjo tabs.

I hope you’re having a great 2020!

Happy New Year!
