Because this site is a one-man operation, I thought it might be helpful to post some my recent health-related issues that have affected my arranging, teaching and BJT2 web site posting…
I’ve had congestive heart failure since February 2007, but have been able to live a relatively normal life with regard to diet, etc.
The CHF did, indeed, put me out of work driving a truck route in rural Illinois back in 2006-2007.
Otherwise, life has been fairly normal.
Recently, back in March of this year, I started having new issues with the CHF. It is a ‘progressive’ disease and, after 12.5 years, took a turn for the worse…
New problems to deal with, new medicines to take, lifestyle changes, a complete re-working of my former diet, difficulty walking and climbing steps, difficulty getting in and out of motor vehicles… It’s making me feel old and incapacitated most days.
It’s been a challenge…
In spite of all that’s happened since March, I adjusted and I continue on…
